As-Is Broaching Machines
As-Is machines are offered with a 30-Day return privilege and BMS has hard to find spare parts in stock to support your broaching operations as long as you own the machine.
Cleaned and Cycled Broaching Machines
This level of service includes the following:
- Transfer machine to BMS manufacturing facility
- Clean hydraulic tank and fill with hydraulic fluid
- Connect electrical power and cycle machine
- Provide list of recommended repairs, if any, and quote as desired
- Training of your personnel on the operation and maintenance of the machine
Reconditioned Broaching Machines
If you have a tight budget, yet require a reliable machine on your floor quickly, a reconditioned broaching machine fits the bill. Often, used machines in our inventory are in very good condition and a simple “reconditioning” will result in a reliable machine that will produce quality parts for the rest of its life.
Reconditioning includes the following services:
Base Machine
- Remove existing tooling, disassemble, clean and power wash machine
- Reconnect utilities (electrical and hydraulic)
- Cycle machine and test functionality of all systems
- Repair as required
Main and Handling Slides
- Inspect ways, gibs and wipers
- Adjust ways to minimize clearance, as required
Main Slide Cylinder
- Inspect for wear and leaks
- Replace cylinder seals and wipers
- Repair as required
Handling Slide Cylinders
- Inspect for wear and leaks
- Replace cylinder seals and wipers
- Repair as required
Hydraulic System
- Remove tank cover and thoroughly clean reservoir
- Rebuild hydraulic pumps
- Inspect hoses and connections for leaks
- Inspect lines for pinches and brakes
- Inspect hydraulic valves
- Repair as required
Electrical System
- Thoroughly clean interior of main electrical panel and junction boxes
- Inspect wires and connections
- Inspect conduit for pinches and brakes
- Inspect electrical switches
- Repair as required
- New Electrical Systems are available at additional cost
Coolant System
- Rebuild coolant pump
- Inspect coolant lines for rigidity, leaks and cracks
- Install cooling lines to work table
- Repair as required
Lube System
- Cycle system and inspect pump, meter blocks and lines for proper operation
- Repair as required
Painting, Tags, and Labels
- The machine will be painted with industrial enamel to customer’s choice of color. (Single color scheme)
- Appropriate tags and labels will be applied as required
One Year Broaching Machine Warranty
A broaching machine that is reconditioned by BMS is backed by a One Year Warranty. This means that should the machine require service on any of the above systems, BMS will come to your location and repair it at our expense.
