Having started working at his dad’s gas station at the age of 13, you could say that Mike has spent almost his whole life working with machines. His formal mechanical training began with a Diesel Engine Mechanic Apprenticeship from 1979-1982 while at the same time earning a certificate in Quality Management from Jackson Community College.

After completing his Quality Management certificate, Mike started his manufacturing career as a Quality Inspector at a stamping facility where he spent 14 years learning all that he could about quality control and the stamping industry.

After leaving the stamping industry Mike joined the world of broaching spending 26 years with (2) different broaching machine/broach tool manufacturers where he studied all aspects of broaching including machine design and construction and tool design. In that time, Mike held various positions including Supervisor of a broach tool manufacturing plant, Broach Tool Sales, Sales Manager, and company President.

Since joining BMS in 2022, Mike has been instrumental in expanding our reach across the globe and across industries. We are fortunate to have him on the team!
