James joined BMS in 1989 as a hydraulic technician trainee. His work ethic and desire to learn paid off and in only three short years, James was made the hydraulic team leader and fluid power specialist.
In this position, James was tasked with taking on the role of designing hydraulic, lube, pneumatic and coolant circuits for the BMS line of machines. His experience in rebuilding nearly every type of broaching machine built by nearly every manufacturer allowed James to incorporate the best attributes from these machines into the BMS designs.
Today, James leads one of the best hydraulic teams in the industry and is an integral part of the BMS "On Time, On Budget, On Objectives" project management system. His input into our weekly production meetings help to assure that BMS meets all its' goals of quality and on time delivery.
James has traveled extensively throughout North America troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic circuits in all types of broaching machines. Like the rest of the BMS hydraulic team, his knowledge of vintage broaching machine hydraulic systems, often exceeds that of the OEMs of the machines themselves.
James is a highly respected and seasoned member of team BMS and as such he was entrusted with the position of Shop Foreman in 2000.
Today, James stays committed to furthering his education in hydraulics and pneumatics, bringing this knowledge to bear when training new hires and helping to improve the BMS line of broaching machines.
